Guide to Research Compliance
The
Guide to Research Compliance has recently been published by the Offices
of Institutional Compliance and the Vice President for Research. The
targeted audience of the Guide is Principal Investigators who have
each received a paper copy. An on-line version of the Guide is located
here.
At the heart of the Guide is a series of checklists. The Guide
is not intended to be a one-stop resource to answer all research
compliance questions. Instead, the goal of the Guide is to act as
a clearing house to help our research teams confirm they have covered
common issues, identify issues they may not have considered, and
to provide them a single reference/link to the appropriate resource
and contact information if they have questions.
This Guide represents an initial effort from each of the many offices
that support research to identify common issues our researchers
face during the “lifecycle” of a project and present
those in a more unified framework.
